Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Dental Content House collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Dental Content House is run by Dr. Adriana Sim, based in Romania, and we handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
Dental Content House (Dr. Adriana Sim) is the data controller for the information collected on this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@dentalcontenthouse.com.
What we collect and why
When you book a discovery call. If you book a call through our booking page, we collect your name, email address, the time you choose, and your answers to a few short questions about your practice. We use this only to hold the call, send you the meeting link and reminders, and prepare for our conversation. Our legal basis is your request for the call and the steps needed before entering into a contract.
When you send us a message. If you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, email address, practice name, website or Instagram handle, and anything you choose to write in your message. We use this only to reply to you, arrange a discovery call and, if we go on to work together, to set up our working relationship. Our legal basis is your request for us to contact you and the steps needed before entering into a contract.
When you email us. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation.
When you browse the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider collects basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and to give us simple visitor statistics. We use this in aggregate to understand how the site is used, based on our legitimate interest in running and improving it.
We never sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to the reasons above.
Services that help us run the site
We rely on a small number of trusted providers, who process data on our behalf:
- WordPress.com and Jetpack (Automattic) host this website, process contact form messages and provide visitor statistics.
- Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace) runs our booking page and stores the details you enter when you book a discovery call.
- Professional Email through WordPress.com handles our business email.
- jsDelivr delivers the fonts used on this site, which means your browser shares your IP address with it when the page loads.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work properly and to produce basic visitor statistics. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our booking page is hosted by Acuity Scheduling, which may set its own cookies needed to process your booking.
How long we keep your information
If you book a call or send us a message and we don’t end up working together, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep the information we need for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for accounting and tax records.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To make any of these requests, just email hello@dentalcontenthouse.com and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Romania, that’s the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), and you can also contact the authority in the country where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new tool to the website. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last changed.
